Evenhold Digital Confirms Campus Hum Will Be Audible Indoors, Thanks Residents for Early Feedback
Updated acoustic modeling extends the campus soundscape into the home.
OXFORD, Mich., — Following its first round of neighbor listening sessions, Evenhold Digital today confirmed that the hum from the proposed Roxbury 24/7 campus is expected to be audible inside most homes in the Proximity Zone, including with windows closed.
"We heard our neighbors loud and clear, and soon they'll hear us the same way," said Dana Pruitt, Chief Operating Officer. "Residents asked whether they would be able to hear the campus from their kitchens. We are proud to give them a definitive answer."
Updated modeling shows the hum is strongest in rooms facing the campus and in basements, where the low frequency travels well through the ground. Bedrooms are expected to be in between.
Evenhold thanks every resident who came to a listening session. Several asked the company to reconsider the location. That feedback has been logged.
