This site does not collect personal information. Forms on this site do not transmit, store, or read anything you enter. We have found this to be the most efficient way to manage community feedback.

Proximity Disclosure

By residing within the Proximity Zone of the Roxbury 24/7 campus, residents acknowledge that the campus is, and will remain, nearby. Evenhold makes no representation that the campus will become any farther away over time and notes that, as the campus expands, the opposite is more likely.

For the purposes of this disclosure, "the Proximity Zone" means 1.8 miles, measured from the nearest campus structure, as that structure may be relocated, extended, or added to from time to time.

Definition of "always humming"

"Always humming" refers to the continuous, low-frequency acoustic signature produced by campus operations, including but not limited to cooling fans, chillers, pumps, transformers, generators under test, and the general resonance of 300 megawatts of electrical load. "Always" means at all times and without interruption, including nights, weekends, federal and religious holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, power outages elsewhere, and moments of silence. "Humming" includes, without limitation, droning, whirring, buzzing, thrumming, and the rising tone some residents have described as "a choir that only knows one note." Evenhold does not consider any of these to be distinct from humming. The hum is not a nuisance, a malfunction, or a symptom of anything. It is a brand attribute.

Acoustic acknowledgment

Comparisons between campus operations and Lapeer Road at rush hour are provided for illustrative purposes. Individual experiences of the hum may vary based on distance, elevation, wind direction, window quality, and the resident's general disposition.
